Written by Julie Tremaine and Carly Caramanna with a foreword by Disney Legend Bob Gurr, this cookbook was made for Disney Parks fans. In addition to over 60 recipes, this book includes stories about the parks and the tastes that make it special.
The back of this book, which came out in December 2026, reads: “Take your tastebuds back in time and savor the magic of Disney Parks flavors of the past. Whether an entrée, a snack, a dessert, or a drink, each recipe is inspired by a legendary Disney dining spot and comes with a slice of untold history.
The first section of the book captures the Walt Disney era of Disneyland with recipes from Red Wagon Inn, Casa de Fritos, Walt’s Hideout, and more.
All sections of the book are based on different eras. The others are The Florida Project Era, Growing Pains, The Disney Decade, and The Modern Mouse.
The final section, the modern section, is all about some more modern places like the former Muppets Courtyard, the Original Coca-Cola Rooftop Beverage Bar, and the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
In addition to the food recipes, drink recipes are also included. This includes the Scotch Mist, a nod to Walt Disney, who preferred the simplicity of scotch, ice, and a lemon twist.
You can also enjoy a host of desserts like Chef Cookie’s Deep Dish, which is a bygone favorite from the now-defunct Big Thunder Ranch BBQ at Disneyland.
