Digital pin collectors, mark your calendars: a brand new digital Star Wars collection will be hitting Disney Pinnacle on May 4.
Star Wars Day 2026 – Limited Mystery Digital Pins

The digital pin platform, Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs, will celebrate Star Wars Day 2026 with a weeklong digital pin release featuring Mystery Capsule pulls, trading rewards, participation bonuses, and a one-of-one Genesis Edition chase pin.
The event, titled “Disney Pinnacle by Dapper Labs Presents: The Event Featuring Star Wars,” will run from May 4 through May 11, 2026. Capsule sales and trading begin on May 4 at 9 a.m. PDT, with both scheduled to close on May 11 at 1 p.m. PDT. Reward distribution is planned for May 12–13.

Disney Pinnacle is a digital collecting platform from Dapper Labs featuring officially licensed digital pins inspired by Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars characters. The platform functions similarly to physical Disney pin collecting, with users able to buy, collect, curate, and trade pins through the Disney Pinnacle app and website. The service includes a marketplace, trading features, releases, and digital “Pinbooks” for displaying collections.
For the Star Wars Day event, each Mystery Capsule pull will cost $4.99 and come from a single shared pool. Disney Pinnacle says the event will include four edition types, the most the platform has offered in one event to date.

The Open Edition Star Wars Collection will include 48 digital pins across 12 shapes and four variants: Standard, Silver Sparkle, Gold, and Digital Display.

A Limited Edition Droid Set will feature five serialized droid pins, including BB-8 as the chase pin. According to Disney Pinnacle, BB-8 will have a mint count 40% lower than the other droids in the set. The other droids are a KX-Series Security Droid, DUM-Series Pit Droid, 2-1B Surgical Droid, and Viper Probe Droid.

Two Limited Event Edition May the 4th pins will also be available: May the 4th — Jedi and May the 4th — Empire. Each will be limited to 252 mints, for a combined total of 504 (referencing the May 4 date). Disney Pinnacle notes that these pins will first be available through Mystery Capsule pulls and will not appear in the Revolving Storefront.

Most notably, the headline collectible is a Genesis Edition Star Wars digital pin, with only one single pin available in the event’s capsule pool. The odds of pulling this pin begin at 0.004%, or 1 in 25,000, from May 4–7. If the Genesis pin is not found by then, the odds will gradually increase to 0.008% on May 8, 0.05% on May 9, and 0.5% on May 11.

The event will also include the Galactic Exchange, a trading promotion running during the same May 4–11 window. Collectors can earn a Star Wars Open Event Edition digital pin by reaching trade milestones. Five trades unlock the Colored Enamel variant, 25 trades unlock Embellished Enamel, and 75 trades unlock Color Splash. Trades must be completed between unique accounts during the campaign window, and Disney Pinnacle says wash trading will be disqualified.
Capsule participation rewards will be awarded separately. Any collector who opens at least one capsule during the event will receive a bonus Star Wars Open Event Edition digital pin, with higher variants awarded at the 10-capsule and 25-capsule thresholds. As with the trading rewards, collectors can earn up to three variants.
To participate, users must download Disney Pinnacle on iOS or Android, create an account, join the waiting room before the May 4 drop, and purchase Mystery Capsule pulls once the event opens.
