Disney has released behind-the-scenes footage of the filming for Soarin’ Across America, a new adventure showcasing the natural beauty of the U.S. for the country’s 250th birthday.
Soarin’ Across America Production Footage
The two-minute-long video shows the filming and production crew at the Grand Canyon in Arizona. The filming crew flies a black helicopter equipped with a camera into the Grand Canyon, focusing on the steep rock walls and rafters on the Colorado River below.

Soarin’ Across America
Soarin’ Across America officially opened to guests at Walt Disney World on May 26. This new adventure showcases the United States from sea to shining sea, highlighting some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes in honor of America’s 250th birthday. Soarin’ Across America will open at Disney California Adventure on July 2.
