Three Caballeros Animatronics Refreshed

During our May 28 visit to EPCOT, we headed to the Mexico Pavilion to ride the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros.

Rounding the corner at the end of the ride, we got a clear view of the Three Caballeros – Donald Duck, Panchito (Mexican charro rooster), and José Carioca (Brazilian parrot).

Though the movements appear the same as before, the beaks and eyes of the three characters seemed shinier than normal.

The Cast Member we spoke with said they weren’t informed about a refresh, but agreed that the eyes and beaks were shinier. Disney has not made an official announcement. However, we don’t think the animatronics were replaced.
Three Caballeros merchandise was also released last month, including a new spirit jersey.
