The new paint job is inspired by the castle’s original look. For the 50th anniversary in 2021, the castle received a pink, royal blue, and dark gray color scheme.

As we reported in late April, cranes were removed from around the castle, indicating the paint job may be complete.

The last of the pink paint was covered in early April. The castle is now shades of gray with blue roofs and gold trim.

The moat around the castle still needs to be refilled, too. Crews have mainly been working in this area recently.
