Cast members told WDWNT that the yellow flies are a problem every summer. These insects are known for their painful bites leaving itchy welts and are commonly found near water.

Dragonflies are predators and just a fake dragonfly on a wire can deter the yellow flies.

We spotted the dragonflies on the podiums at the EPCOT and Riviera Resort stations. They are currently being tested so might show up at other Disney Skyliner stations if they are found to be effective.
