Disney Springs Trying to Control Pin Tuesday Releases with New Rules, Opening Time for Parking & Rideshare, & Wristband Distribution Location

Disney Springs is implementing several new procedures to manage Pin Tuesdays and other special merchandise releases.

New Procedures at Disney Springs

Disney Springs is implementing several new procedures to manage Pin Tuesdays and other special merchandise releases.

During special merchandise release events, including Pin Tuesday, parking garages and ride-share loops will now open at 7:00 a.m. Ride-share loops at Disney Springs include Marketplace Loop near Disney’s Wonderful World of Memories and the West Side Bus and Rideshare Loop adjacent to the Strawberry parking lot.

Any vehicles arriving before 7:00 a.m. on event days will be asked to depart and return at 7:00 a.m. This prevents guests from overnight queueing.

Wristbands will also be distributed at Lime Garage only to help with these new crowd control procedures. This is similar to the way we have experienced Pin Tuesday procedures at EPCOT.

The changes will go into effect this coming Tuesday, June 2.

Pin Tuesday crowd at EPCOT

Pin Tuesday is the weekly release of limited-edition pins. Limited release and limited edition trading pins are available at every Walt Disney World theme park and Disney Springs. Pin stores include Frontier Trading Post at Magic Kingdom, Disney Traders in EPCOT, The Darkroom at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Discovery Trading Company in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Pin Traders in Disney Springs.

These events always draw huge crowds, so these changes will help run the events more smoothly.
