Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which received a major overhaul last year, will soon receive new set elements at EPCOT. Imagineering just filed a permit for the new props that Disney previously stated would be added.
New Set Elements for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

The permit, filed by Walt Disney Imagineering, is for installing “set elements.” Icarus Exhibits Inc., which was also just listed for an Indiana Jones permit, is the contractor. It expires in April 2027.
The ride was recently converted to two-dimensional projection technology, along with enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery. Many guests complained that the ride causes motion sickness, and these updates alleviate the majority of those concerns. Guests no longer use 3D glasses, and there are brighter, sharper images throughout the ride.
In addition to the 2D conversion, Disney previously stated that new props and lighting enhancements would be added to the queue and attraction in the coming months. We assume this permit is related to that.
