Walt Disney World is now offering bus transportation directly connecting select resorts to water parks. Usually, guests have to transfer at Disney Springs to reach Typhoon Lagoon or at Animal Kingdom to reach Blizzard Beach.

Typhoon Lagoon recently reopened and is operating simultaneously with Blizzard Beach for the summer. From May 26 through September 8, all Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests can enjoy a free water park ticket on the day of check-in.
To accommodate the expected uptick in water park visitation, Disney has expanded bus transportation.
Guests staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter can enjoy convenient direct bus transportation to and from Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. Disney reminds guests to check transportation signage for the most up‑to‑date details, including pick‑up locations and operating hours.
For other hotels, guests must still take the bus to the Disney Springs area, then transfer onto the bus for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.
Bus service from Disney Springs to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park begins approximately 30 minutes prior to the water park opening. Bus service from Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park to Disney Springs ends approximately 60 minutes after the water park closing.

For Disney’s Blizzard Beach, guests at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and Disney’s All-Star Resort hotels can enjoy convenient direct bus transportation to and from the water park.
From all other hotels, guests must take the bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, then transfer onto the bus for Disney’s Blizzard Beach.

When it comes to traveling between water parks and theme parks, Disney recommends using the “Get Directions” feature in the My Disney Experience app or asking a cast member for assistance.
