The entrance to the Downtown Disney District from Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at Disneyland Resort has installed facial recognition signs. We’ve previously seen similar signs nearby at the Mickey & friends parking structure.

Facial Recognition Signs

These facial recognition notice signs were spotted specifically at the entrance to Downtown Disney from Disney’s Grand Californian. At this time, we have not noted them at other entrances.

These signs are put on a nearby wall with a QR code for more information about Disney’s privacy standards.

The sign reads:

Facial Recognition at Park Entry

Entry lanes at this location use facial recognition technology. Use of this technology is optional.
