Several final details have been completed outside Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The courtyard’s gate was repainted, another FØØD by Swedish Chef banner installed, and more. Plus, we heard queue announcements testing.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Courtyard Entrance

When the courtyard is closed, a gate blocks access to guests. The gate has now been painted gray, like the archway and show building. Everything was previously beige.

Just a week ago, the gate was still beige, although everything else had been painted.

The side mirrors and antennae have been reinstalled on the upside-down car. These elements were removed for the car’s repainting.

They may have been completely replaced or refurbished.

FØØD by Swedish Chef

Crew members installed the main FØØD by Swedish Chef banner above the snack stand on Friday morning. A small side banner and the exterior wrap were installed on Thursday.

The snack stand was previously KRNR The Rock Station. The radio-themed kiosk also had banner signs.

Rock Around The Shop

Over at Rock Around The Shop, decals now adorn the sliding glass entrance doors. The decal utilizes the same circular logo design as the painted sign outside.

The simpler decal does not include Dr. Teeth’s pointing hand.

Ride Entrance

Rolling planters still block the ride’s main entrance but with a peek through, we noticed the Lightning Lane “tapstiles” and other entrance elements have been freshly repainted. They retain the same silver-gray, blue, and red color scheme.

While hanging around the entrance, we could also hear announcements in the outdoor queue. Unfortunately, they were too muffled to understand but we thought we heard Kermit’s voice.

Kermit and Miss Piggy will appear in the ride’s pre-show along with The Electric Mayhem and Scooter. The latter will be an Audio-Animatronic, which Disney recently revealed.

Disney also shared a first look at the ride’s repainted vehicles and on-ride photos, the FØØD menu, and new Muppets merchandise.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens on May 26, 2026.
