The King Arthur Carrousel, an opening day ride at Disneyland Park, will soon be closing for refurbishment. This attraction closed for a long refurbishment in January 2020.
Carrousel Refurbishment

King Arthur Carrousel is slated to begin its refurbishment closure on July 6, 2026. There is, at the time of writing, no reopening date or planned refurbishment work announced by Disney.
The carousel was originally built for Sunnyside Beach Park in 1922 before being relocated to Disneyland in 1954 for the 1955 opening. It is themed after The Sword in the Stone, as noted by the statue of the sword in the stone in front of the carousel.
