One Marvel fan just paid a super-sized amount for the chance to watch Avengers: Doomsday with Ant-Man himself.
A Real Life Hero and One Expensive Movie Ticket

A guest at Big Slick Kansas City charity auction bid $100,000 for the opportunity to see Avengers: Doomsday with Paul Rudd during the annual fundraising event benefiting Children’s Mercy Kansas City.
“I worked on this little independent movie, it’s called Avengers Doomsday … and, I don’t know, I think it would be really cool if two people came with me to Los Angeles … to go to the premiere with me …
This will include the after party – I’ll introduce you to every single person that I see, we’ll try to get as many selfies as possible, I know some of them, some of them will talk to me!”

The auction took place during Big Slick Kansas City, a celebrity charity weekend hosted by Kansas City hometown names Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, David Koechner, Eric Stonestreet, and Heidi Gardner.
The 2026 event marked the 17th year of Big Slick and returned to T-Mobile Center for the Big Slick Party & Show, which features comedy, music, sketches, celebrity appearances, and live auction items.
In an Instagram reel shared by local content creator mattbacaling, Paul Rudd hit the stage during the event’s auction to personally present a unique experience to the bidding crowd. T
The package offered the winning bidder the chance to attend a showing of the upcoming Marvel Studios film with Rudd, who is set to return as Scott Lang/Ant-Man in Avengers: Doomsday.

As bidding commenced, our view cut to a guest in the audience who called out “one hundred thousand,” drawing a loud reaction from the crowd.
The bid appeared on the arena screen as attendees cheered, with Rudd later making his way toward the winning bidder as photographers and guests surrounded the moment.

We will be keeping an eye out this December during Avengers: Endgame coverage for those selfies from Paul Rudd and the generous Big Slick guest!
