A new Grogu-focused nighttime offering is coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park for a limited time.
The Curious Child

Disney announced that a new projection show titled The Curious Child will be shown for a limited time in Batuu West as part of the resort’s celebration of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, which arrives in theaters on May 22, 2026.
The new projection sequence will feature Grogu (also known as the Child, or more colloquially as Baby Yoda) as he uses his Force abilities to revisit memories from his travels with The Mandalorian.
The Curious Child will play after Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga, the current projection show presented in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Like that show and other projection experiences in Galaxy’s Edge, the new Grogu sequence will presumably use the rocky spires near the Millennium Falcon as a large-scale storytelling canvas, transforming the Batuu skyline with projection effects.

Disneyland has not yet announced an end date for the limited-time offering, though we expect it will coincide with the film’s theatrical run. Guests planning to see The Curious Child should keep an eye on the Disneyland app or check back with WDWNT.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and other locations will also offer Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu-inspired dishes and drinks at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Also, be sure to check out the new souvenir novelties coming to both resorts.
