Disneyland has a new variety of Chicken Tenders. Disney claims they are tangy, but do they pass our test? Read our review!
Hawaiian Chicken Tenders and Fries – $14.49
Chicken Tenders tossed in a tangy Hawaiian-inspired BBQ Sauce garnished with Green Onions and served with French Fries
Tangy is accurate! There is definitely some complex flavor profiles happening here. The chicken is your typical solid Disney tender, and the crispiness held up which is always a risk with a sauced tender.
Flavor-wise, we get a Teriyaki – Sweet Chili combination taste profile, and it’s not your typical BBQ. It’s not exactly spicy, but there is slight heat by Disney standards and a tiny lingering burn on the after-taste.
This could be a good size lunch or dinner for someone or an easily shareable snack, so it’s a good value. If you like Hawaiian flavors, we think you would enjoy this. This isn’t a superstar stand out but solidly above average. It stacks up well against other sauced tenders in the parks.
