Travelers looking to visit Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan will soon have another nonstop option from Central Florida, as ZIPAIR is bringing back direct service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tokyo’s Narita International Airport (NRT).
ZIPAIR Returning to Orlando

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) announced that ZIPAIR will operate three additional nonstop passenger charter flights between Orlando and Tokyo this summer. The flights are scheduled for August 8, August 13, and August 18, with bookings expected to open in mid-June.
The announcement follows the success of the airline’s inaugural Orlando-to-Tokyo service earlier this year. Those flights, which operated in February and March, marked the first nonstop open passenger charter service connecting Florida with the Asia-Pacific region.
According to airport officials, the initial flights generated strong interest from travelers, prompting the airline to return with additional service later this year.
The renewed flights are part of ongoing efforts to demonstrate demand for a permanent nonstop route between Orlando and Tokyo, a connection that airport leaders and tourism partners have pursued for decades.
As international travel continues to rebound, Orlando International Airport has experienced significant growth in overseas visitation, helping strengthen its position as one of the busiest airports in the United States.
Founded in 2018, ZIPAIR is a low-cost airline wholly owned by the Japan Airlines Group. The carrier operates long-haul international routes between Japan and destinations across North America and Asia, offering travelers lower base fares while allowing passengers to customize their travel experience with optional add-ons and services.
The airline currently serves several major U.S. cities from Tokyo Narita, and Orlando remains one of its newest American destinations.
The return of ZIPAIR comes as several airlines continue expanding their presence at Orlando International Airport. Southwest Airlines recently announced multiple new routes and increased frequencies on existing Orlando flights, further growing travel options for visitors heading to Central Florida and beyond.
