Art of Animation and Pop Century Resort have released two new croissants that we tried today. Read on to see if they rose to the occasion or flaked under pressure.

For the first croissant, we headed over to Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.

If putting yourself in a sugar coma first thing in the morning is your idea of a good breakfast, then you’ll enjoy this croissant. We found this croissant way too sweet, and we love sugar.

The part we liked the most was the burnt marshmallow on top. This croissant may be a good dessert option to split with someone, but otherwise, it’s just too sweet on its own.

Cookie Butter Croissant.

For the other croissant, we found it at Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. (It can also be found at Disney’s All-Stars Sports Resort.)

Cookie Butter Croissant.

At first, we thought this croissant was too buttery, but once we got a bite with the vanilla and Biscoff, it was better.

The cookie butter and marshmallow cream were probably around a tablespoon and a half, not throughout the entire croissant, which was nice. The vanilla icing and cookie bits were a fun addition too and paired well with the cookie butter.

Overall, we thought this croissant was much lighter than the previous one, which we appreciated, but it probably won’t be something you’ll talk about when you get home.
