During our visit to the Disneyland Resort, we were treated with a rare meet and greet: The BDX droids were out in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
Disneyland BDX Droids Meet-and-Greet – May 22, 2026

Previously, the BDX droids would be out at random times, but starting today, they debuted in a new location across from Droid Depot.
The droids will now be in this location consistently and are not associated with Kids Rule Summer or the expanded timeline at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, just provided as an additional offering.

When we found where the droids were, there was already a large crowd of people gathered at the railing.

The droids can be found in the land speeder garage across from Droid Depot. They are behind a railing, so guests cannot get up close and touch them.

Three BDX droids were out when we saw them: Red (the red unit), Oskar (the orange unit), and Grek (the green unit). The fourth droid, Besh (blue unit), was not present.

The droids wandered around the garage on their own, scanning the vehicles and parts as they were designed to do.

At other times, they would group up and interact with each other, like when they “goofed off” from work by tapping out a beat and singing along to it.
Disneyland also recently released a BDX droid popcorn bucket that is available for purchase now while supplies last.
