Disneyland has opened the Pixar Short Film Spotlight at the Tomorrowland Theater as part of their Kids Rule Summer initiative. The experience is similar to the 2018 Pixar Fest and the Short Film Festival at Walt Disney World, but with three films that have never been shown in a theme park before.
Pixar Short Film Spotlight

The show runs about every 20 minutes from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. One presentation includes three short films: Lou (2017), Smash and Grab (2019), and Luxo Jr. (1986). The latter is, of course, the film that started it all with the iconic lamp jumping on a colorful ball.

Signage at the theater is updated for the new show. Disney warns guests that the “motion picture adventure” includes loud noises and music, and could be frightening for children.

Posters for each short film are in the queue.

The films will be playing through the summer but it’s possible they could get an extended run. Tomorrowland Theater is rarely used so it would be nice to see ongoing entertainment here.
