Roof and facade work is moving quickly over at the former Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures in the now extinct Dinoland U.S.A. area at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Our last major update from early April of this part of upcoming Tropical Americas mentioned the removal of the shop’s signage from the roof. All of those signs are still gone, though we can still see the giant “SOUVENIR” sign painted directly onto the roof.
All of the metal signposts have now been removed from the rooflines and awning overhang.

In the above photo from early April, you can see the metal signposts still in place.

Construction equipment surrounds the building, which now has tarps covering various parts of it. There is protective plastic installed on the skylight windows on the left building, and tarps completely covering the top of the porch overhang on the right building.
