The Mandalorian and Grogu visited Good Morning America this May the 4th to share an exclusive clip from the upcoming Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. A new trailer for the film honoring past generations of Star Wars characters was also released.
The Mandalorian and Grogu Sneak Peek
In the sneak peek shared on Good Morning America, Din Djarin and Grogu climb aboard an Imperial Remnant AT-RT. They approach a trio of AT-AT walkers and dodge cannon fire as Hemky Madera’s Imperial Warlord barks orders at Stormtroopers.
The film follows Clan Mudhorn (Din and Grogu) as they help the New Republic take down the remaining Imperial warlords.
The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu. Directed by Jon Favreau, “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” also stars Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White and is produced by Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce, with music composed by Ludwig Göransson.
The Mandalorian and Grogu Trailer

Celebrating May the 4th a.k.a. Star Wars Day, the new “Generations” trailer has Din telling Grogu, “The old protect the young, and then the young protect the old.” Clips from other Star Wars films showcase such pairings as old “Ben” Kenobi and Luke Skywalker, young Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker, and Rey and Luke.
See the film in theaters on May 22.
