Located inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Tiffins Restaurant is celebrating 10 years of globally inspired cuisine with a chocolate medallion and Jasmine Hibiscus tea.
Tiffins 10th Anniversary
Nestled in the center of Animal Kingdom in Discovery Island, Tiffins Restaurant is just a short walk from the park entrance, located near the Tree of Life just before the bridge to Pandora – The World of Avatar.
The anniversary of the restaurant is today, May 27. It opened in 2016. During our lunch visit today, we received a complimentary cup of Jasmine Hibiscus tea.
We also ordered dessert, the Caramel Flan, and it came with a 10th anniversary edible chocolate medallion! Our server shared it’s expected to be around for the remainder of the week.
The African Pot de Crème is also accompanied with the chocolate medallion.
Lastly, we received a special card on our way out. This is not necessarily a new offering, but they do add new ones from time to time.
The front features a sketch-style image of Shela, which served as a location for reserach. The back has the following text:
A view across the rooftops of Shela, a small coastal village adjacent to the town of Lamu, where we did much of our architectural research for Harambe. You may recognize the minaret rising in the distance. This architecture represents a blend of influences, from the local Swahili, Arabian, and Indian merchants who formed these towns as trading posts centuries ago.
Nomad Lounge, the connecting lounge, has a refreshed menu to celebrate this milestone.
