For its first-ever U.S. presentation, Avatar in Concert will debut at the Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando next month.

Alongside the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and Opera Orlando, Avatar in Concert will have a one-night-only performance at the Dr. Phillips Center. On Saturday, June 20, at 7 p.m., the musicians will bring the cinematic score to life. According to Avatar director James Cameron, “to hear the powerful, emotional music from this film performed live to picture will be a truly magical experience.”
The conductor for the evening will be John Jesensky. Two noted soloists are Eric Rigler on ethnic flutes and whistles, and Eleanor Grant on vocals. At the time of writing, seats were still available in every area of the theater except for the center orchestra section.
Avatar in Concert made its world premiere on October 27, 2024, at The Royal Albert Hall in London, England. Both James Cameron and Sigourney Weaver were in attendance.
Avatar: Fire and Ash
The latest installment of Avatar will be coming to Disney+ next month as well. Just a few days after the concert at the Dr. Phillips Center, Avatar: Fire and Ash will be available to stream on Disney+.
