The new themed depot – coming to the resort sometime this year – appears to be nearing a structurally complete state.
Polynesian Bus Stop Approaching Structural Completion

Construction continues on the new bus stop at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, with the latest visible work focused around the roofline of the depot’s shelter structures.

In the latest photos, gutters have been installed along the edges of the red metal roofs. Light-colored guttering or trim now runs beneath the roofline, standing out against the reddish-brown roof panels and darker wood-toned supports.

The roof itself appears mostly finished, with the shelter now resembling the Polynesian Village Resort’s broader tropical-inspired architecture more closely than in earlier construction updates.

The surrounding guest pathways also appear farther along. Beige pavement has been installed throughout the area, and landscaping around the walkway looks largely in place, including palms, shrubs, and flowering plants.

Additional curbside features are visible near the future bus loading area, including bollards and newly finished concrete sections.
The new depot sits beneath the Walt Disney World Monorail beam, near the resort roadway and parking lot. The bus stop is part of broader entrance and transportation-area work at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Disney has not announced an opening date for the depot, though work around the resort is expected to continue throughout 2026.
The bus stop has progressed significantly since earlier updates in April, when crews had added sheathing and themed planks to the station.
Later in the month, aerial photos showed additional roof work and continued concrete work around the bus depot.
