Test Track at EPCOT was delayed yesterday after the hood of one of the ride vehicles apparently popped open during the ride.

NickBusters shared a short video on TikTok of the car that malfunctioned. In the clips, the ride is already stopped. The offending car’s hood is sticking straight up in front of the riders, who are waving.

The video was shared on Wednesday, May 20. Despite the incident, Test Track is operational on Thursday, May 21. The car that malfunctioned was likely removed from rotation to be examined.

Test Track 3.0 opened last summer. It features a refreshed queue, updated storyline, and new visuals inspired by World of Motion (the original EPCOT ride that Test Track replaced). Check out our ride POV below.
