American Flag Half-Staff for Peace Officers Memorial Day
The commemorative date was established in 1961 to honor police officers who have died or been injured in the line of duty. President Donald Trump ordered flags to be flown at half-staff nationwide on May 15, 2026.
We saw the American flag outside EPCOT at half-staff but guests will notice the flag at half-staff at the front of all four Walt Disney World theme parks and other locations.
