Disney has removed the coins from a World Celebration reflecting pool that was recently drained.
World Celebration Reflecting Pool Coins Removed

The affected area is the body of water between the Imagination Pavilion and the Land Pavilion closest to CommuniCore Plaza. Crews recently drained the water and moved the rocks into piles.

Now, the next step has begun, which involves cleaning out the coins that are thrown into the water by guests, as well as debris.

Previously, the concrete floor of the pool was littered with coins, small works, and other small debris. One side contains the large pile of rock, while the other is clear.

Pictured above is what the reflecting pool floor looks like with the coins.
Coins from Cinderella’s Wishing Well at Magic Kingdom and other fountains and waterways throughout Walt Disney World—including this one—are collected periodically and donated to Make-A-Wish and Give Kids The World Village. These coins will likely be removed.
Back in 2022, Disney donated $30,000! Disney will likely have another large dollar amount to give soon now that this reflecting pool has been drained.
