This morning, a general construction permit was filed for the entrance toll plaza at EPCOT. It expires one year from today, June 29.
EPCOT Entrance Toll Plaza Permit

The permit is with contractor Gulfcoast Utility Constructors, which, according to its website, primarily deals with underground utilities:
Gulfcoast Utility offers comprehensive services for many underground utilities, including wet and dry utilities, fire prevention systems, and mechanical utilities. Our major services include utility installation, repair, and maintenance, TEAM InsertValve installations, site and civil work, and vacuum excavation. With each crew boasting a minimum of 25 years of combined experience and a fleet of owned equipment, you can trust us to deliver quality and efficient services for projects of any size.
The toll plaza has been getting some updates and changes this year. At the end of April, the “Welcome” sign returned. This upcoming construction work could also be related to the recent installation of road dividers at the parking toll plaza entrance, but at this time it is not clear.
