Seemingly in honor of The Tony Awards tonight, June 7, Disney Cruise Line has shared a series of “Duckbill” (a parody of Playbill) images of some of its onboard entertainment.

Duckbills

All of the Duckbills shared by Disney Cruise Line have a “hidden” cruise line ship in the image. In the Hercules image above, we can see that it is at the top of the hill Hercules is climbing. Half of Hades’ face is shown at the bottom, looking menacing.

In the image for Aladdin, we can see the ship as Genie’s lamp sitting on a blue and gold pedestal. The shadow in the bottom half of the Duckbill shows Aladdin reaching for the “lamp.”

A departure from the designs of the other Duckbills, the Beauty and the Beast variation is in a stained glass motif. It shows Belle and Beast dancing, and the “hidden” ship is in the back, lefthand side.

Lastly, the Disney The Tale of Moana Duckbill has a much more hidden ship in its design. Moana and Maui are seen aboard her boat riding a rough sea. The ship is fittingly among the waves.
