Dragon Striker

Dragon Striker is a new animated sports fantasy series that mixes high-stakes athletic competition with magical powers and a visual style that is distinctly inspired by Japanese animation.
Dragon Striker is set in a world where sports and magic are closely linked. The story follows Key, a farm boy who discovers he has an unusually powerful natural ability and may be the mythic, long-rumored “Dragon Striker.” His journey leads him to Kal Asterock, a prestigious academy for students with extraordinary talents.
At the school, Key teams up with Ssyelle, a goalkeeper trying to lead an underdog squad against Kal Asterock’s reigning champions. As Key learns to control the dragon-like force within him, Ssyelle works to keep the team from falling apart. Their quest gradually uncovers long-buried secrets and the threat of an ancient evil.
The 11-episode series will premiere in full on Disney XD on June 9. Episodes will be available to stream the following day on Disney+ and Hulu. More information about the show can be found here.
