This year, Epic Universe will host a fireworks celebration for Fourth of July. Universal will also host a variety of events at Universal Studios Florida, CityWalk, and the hotels.
Fourth of July at Universal Orlando Resort
Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect during Fourth of July at Universal Orlando Resort:
- Fourth of July-themed fireworks show at Universal Epic Universe.
- Live DJs, character meet and greets, and a brief pyrotechnics show at Universal Studios Florida.
- Live music, a DJ set, and enjoy themed entertainment at Universal CityWalk.
- Specialty Fourth of July food and beverages and participate in themed activities and entertainment at select Universal Orlando hotels.
Fourth of July at Universal Epic Universe
This year, Epic Universe will have a live, live, continuous DJ set at the Hemisphere Stage from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Plus, snap a photo with Fourth of July-themed stilt walkers near the Hemisphere Stage and Cosmos Fountain throughout the evening starting at 5 p.m.
Performers near the Hemisphere Stage and Cosmos Fountain will be available throughout the evening beginning at 5:30 p.m.
And, for the first time, a Fourth of July fireworks show will take place at 9 p.m. and a fountain show will perform at 10 p.m. Celestial Goodnight will debut on July 7.
Fourth of July at Universal Studios Florida
During the Fourth of July weekend, watch four 15-minute Street Breakz performances at the Expo Circle at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. Other performers include stilt walkers and ground performers at the Music Plaza Stage from 6:15 p.m. – 9:50 p.m. while live DJs pump the jams from 5:15 p.m. – 10 p.m.
You can also meet a variety of characters all night from 6:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. at the Music Plaza Stage.
A live DJ will be at Mel’s Drive-In from 7:15 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. And more characters will be there from 7 p.m. – 8:50 p.m. and watch live performers from 7:20 p.m. – 10 p.m.
The Universal Mega Movie Parade will take place at 6 p.m. and CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular will perform from the Lagoon at 9 p.m. Watch a brief, vibrant display of pyrotechnics from the Lagoon at 10 p.m.
Fourth of July at Universal CityWalk
Listen to live musical performances from American Sirens on the Plaza Stage from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Hall of Fame on the Waterfront Stage from 8 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.
A live DJ will man the Promenade from 8 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. while atmosphere performers and stilt walkers maintain good vibes all night long.
Fourth of July at Universal Orlando Hotels
Select Universal Orlando hotels will feature a limited-time selection of food and beverage offerings — with some adding live entertainment and fun activities into the mix.
