Guide to 2027 Disney Dining Plans at Walt Disney World

Customize your experience at Walt Disney World by purchasing a dining plan, including the new option for 2027, the Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan.

Disney Dining Plan Overview

Dining Plans are purchased as part of your stay at a Disney Resorts hotel. For everyone in your party ages 3 and over, a Disney Dining Plan includes a set number of meals and snacks based on the number of nights of your resort stay. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay, with unused meals rolling over each day until midnight on your check-out day. This gives you flexibility to mix and bundle your meals as you see fit.

Once you’re at a dining location, let a Cast Member know that you are using a Dining Plan and they will handle the rest. You can keep track of your meals via the My Disney Experience app, with dining receipts, or by asking a Cast Member at your resort front desk or a guest relations location.

Quick-Service Meal vs. Table-Service Meal

Quick-service meals are locations where you order at a counter, such as at Connections Eatery in EPCOT or Flame Tree Barbecue in Animal Kingdom. These spots cost one quick-service meal and are great for grabbing a meal on-the-go.

Table-service meals are restaurants where you are seated and served. Spots like Tony’s Town Square Restaurant in Magic Kingdom or 50’s Prime Time Café in Hollywood Studios are some examples and they cost one table-service meal.

Reservations are highly recommended for table-service restaurants, but guests staying at a Disney resort have first access to book dining reservations – up to 60 days in advance of your check-in day – for the entire length of your stay.

Character dining and signature dining experiences are similar to table-service restaurants in that they offer a meal at a table. However, they come with a magical twist, such as a Disney character coming to your table or cuisine from award-winning chefs. Restaurants like Story Book Dining at Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge or Tiffins Restaurant in Animal Kingdom are examples of these experiences.

Character dining and signature dining experiences can cost up to two table-service meals, so consider the Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan for greater flexibility to dine at these locations.

Another important note is that table-service meals can also be used at quick-service restaurants, too. However, this brings the value of the Dining Plan down so it’s not always recommended. Also don’t forget your refillable drink mug during your stay, as you can get refills on several types of beverages, like water, soda, and even coffee at your resort.
