Lion designs have replaced Zootopia: Better Zoogether designs in a collectible medallion machine in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Lion Medallions at Animal Kingdom

This machine at Discovery Trading Company has had Zootopia: Better Zoogether medallions since last summer. It’s now offering four lion designs. These were previously available at the Ziwani Traders machine but were replaced by IP designs a few years ago.

Though the golden coins feature realistic lions, at least two of the designs are inspired by The Lion King. One of these includes a lion standing on a Pride Rock-like structure with two other lions in the sky above him. Another design includes two cubs, a warthog, and a meerkat.

The third design depicts a roaring male lion while the fourth reads “Heart of a Lioness” above a female lion. Though the buttons depict the medallions with different colors, all four are golden. They each have the Disney’s Animal Kingdom logo with the Tree of Life on the back.

They are $6 each or $20 for all four.

The Zootopia designs may move to another machine. Zootopia: Better Zoogether opened in the Tree of Life last fall.
