Last night, June 17, at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards, Miss Piggy showed up and received a surprise award.

When Miss Piggy took the stage with award hosts Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers, Rogers asked her if she would karate chop them. That request drew snark from Miss Piggy, who insisted that the ask was “weird” and that she was actually there to “promote my new roller coaster” — a reference to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

That is when Miss Piggy was given what seemed to be a surprise award: Grand Dame of Culture, Divahood and Porcine Glamour Award. After getting her award, Rogers asked again if she would karate chop them, to which she asked if everyone had signed their waivers. That is when she kicked (or karate chopped) it into high gear.
