A Walt Disney World announcement for the new Monsters, Inc. land under construction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was released today. A clue on the front page of the published newspaper graphic indicates we may be getting more details for Harryhausen’s and the Glob theater show later this summer at D23.

Monstropolis Details to Come

In this morning’s announcement, Disney shared the front page of the newspaper “Monstropolis Horn.” At the very top, it says “Local Restaurants Comment on New Menu Development Page 8, Col. 15” and “Glob Theater Show Begins Rehearsals Ahead of H.U.M.A.N. Day Page 8, Col. 15.”

Human guests will get to explore the city, meet its citizens, taste unique cuisine, and step into the everyday world of monsters. Destinations include iconic restaurant Harryhausen’s and the Glob Theater.

Where the clue comes in is the numbers 8 and 15. They could stand for August 15, and the Disney Experiences showcase at D23 is scheduled for August 15. So, are we getting information for Harryhausen’s (or another dining location) and the Glob theater show during D23? Maybe we will see the menu revealed or more details on the show.

We already know guests will get to enter Monsters, Inc. itself, where they will experience Disney’s first suspended and vertical-life roller-coaster, taking them on a journey into the famous door vault.
