The Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are currently being refurbished. We just got our first look at the refurbished units, which include Mulan, Princess and the Frog, Cinderella, and more.

Treehouse Villas Refurbishment

Disney shared a video highlighting the process for refurbishment. In the video we get a look at the main living space, which features several natural materials, organic color palettes, and wood carvings.

They looked at the past 100 years of Disney animation to determine which characters to incorporate. The designs feature characters from Mulan, Princess and the Frog, The Rescuers, Cinderella, Tangled, Fox and the Hound, and Sleeping Beauty.

From the virtual model room, which is the 3-D model of the space, the design process moves to the functional model room. This is where Imagineers test the functionality of everything in the space.

In the contractor model room, teams bring the design to life. They use this room as a reference for all the other units. Watch the video below:

The Treehouse Villas will be refurbished in phases through mid-September 2026. This means not all the villas will have to close at the same time.
