Guests visiting Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom currently have just one style of interactive shoulder banshee available to purchase.
Interactive Shoulder Banshee Stock Nearly Sold Out
The popular souvenir is sold at Windtraders, where guests can “adopt” a banshee from the Banshee Rookery, which normally offers banshees in a variety of colorations.
As of our most recent visit to Pandora, however, the interactive shoulder banshee lineup has been reduced to only the purple “Thistle” style, with the other versions currently unavailable.

The current generation of interactive shoulder banshees debuted in late 2024, replacing the previous version of the toy with updated features. The newer banshees include a wireless remote, glow-in-the-dark bioluminescent details, and the ability to interact with other compatible banshees.

The refreshed lineup originally included four different styles, with a fifth limited edition style briefly available last year as part of a promotion for Avatar: Fire and Ash.
Again, at the moment, only Thistle remains in stock at Windtraders. The other three styles have reportedly sold out, leaving guests with no alternate color options if they want to bring home one of the interactive shoulder creatures.

We could not confirm if or when we should expect a restock of the missing three styles. The low inventory does not necessarily mean Disney is retiring or replacing the current wave of banshees, but it does mean options are extremely limited for guests visiting Pandora right now.
