Several new create-your-own headband character plushes are now available at Disneyland Resort. These include Rapunzel, Pascal, Ariel, Flounder, Moana, Heihei, Pua, and a Kakamora. We spotted these at The Mad Hatter at Disneyland Park and Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at Disney California Adventure.
We also found a new base bucket hat for attaching the plush. But the bucket hat or standard base headband are not included. The headband can be purchased separately for $11.99.
Create-Your-Own Headband Plush
Each plush attaches to the headband or hat with a Velcro strap.
Rapunzel Headband Plush – $13.99
Rapunzel’s smiling face has a slight blush to her cheeks. Her hair is a soft, yellow fabric with an embroidered purple flower above her left ear. Her facial features are embroidered and she has a light pink ruffle beneath her head.
Pascal Headband Plush – $13.99
Pascal is a green chameleon and though the headband plush can’t change color, it represents his natural powers with shiny reflective “scales.” He has an embroidered mouth, big round eyes, and felt frills on his eyebrows.
Ariel Headband Plush – $13.99
Similar to Rapunzel, Ariel’s soft, fabric hair also has a flower. However, this pink flower is a fabric element that sticks out from behind her left ear. Her facial features are embroidered, and she has a purple ruffle beneath her face.
Flounder Headband Plush – $13.99
Flounder is a yellow fish with blue stripes and fins. He has an open-mouthed smile and embroidered green eyes.
Moana Headband Plush – $13.99
Moana’s plush also has a fabric ruffle beneath her face, but her orange ruffle has her necklace pendant (the Heart of Te Fiti) in the center. There is an orange flower on the right side of her hair. All of Moana’s facial features are embroidered.
Pua Headband Plush – $13.99
This Pua headband plush has a big smile on his face. The bottom of the plush attaches to a headband base. Both of Pua’s ears stick out on either side of his head. All of his facial features, like his big brown eyes, nostrils, and smile, are embroidered.
Heihei Headband Plush – $13.99
Heihei’s bright red wattle and comb stick out from the design of this plush accessory. His black, beady eyes are embroidered on either side of his head, giving him a goofy, almost cock-eyed appearance.
Kakamora Headband Plush – $13.99
This menacing Kakamora plush shows the full body of the tiny coconutty villain, not just its head like the other two plush above. The Kakamora’s arms stick out from either side of its body, and it has a skull over its face with embroidered detailing.
Create-Your-Own Bucket Hat – $19.99
The bucket hat is black with the gothic Disneyland “D” logo embroidered on the front. It has slots on top for attaching two plush characters.
Several of these are also available at Disney World.
