Shaded Tables and Seating Added to Former Disney Springs Food Truck Area

Disney Springs has quickly found a new use for the former Food Truck park, adding some much-needed shade and seating for the many nearby counter-service locations.

Disney Springs Food Trucks Replaced with Table Seating

Disney Springs has quickly found a new use for the former Food Truck park, adding some much-needed respite for many nearby counter-service locations.

As we first learned in May, the longstanding Disney Springs food trucks were due for removal, with no definitive future known for the space. The trucks were officially removed by June 8.

As of our latest visit, we noticed the former food truck location now features several clusters of metal tables and chairs placed throughout the open area.

Most of the tables are covered by pale green patio umbrellas, bringing some additional shade to the otherwise uncovered plaza.

The new table arrangements fill much of the space stretching from the main guest walkway and up toward the waterfront path.

The area also still includes its existing circular planters, trees, and flower beds, including the large central planter surrounded by orange flowers.

These changes come as Disney Springs continues to see regular changes across its dining and retail lineup. We will continue to monitor the former food truck area for updates.

Have you visited Disney Springs since the addition of these tables? We encourage you to share photos of the new venue with us on social media.
