There is a new Star Tours t-shirt available at Walt Disney World, and the corresponding StarSpeeder play set is now over $150 off. We saw both Star Tours merchandise pieces at Tatooine Traders at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
The StarSpeeder is also available online at the Disney Store (though it is a reduced price of $250 rather than $200).
StarSpeeder 1000 – $200 (regularly $350)
The Star Tours StarSpeeder 1000 Vehicle play set is a detailed toy version of the StarSpeeder spacecraft from Star Tours: The Adventures Continue.
The play set includes an LCD screen with the attraction’s original film content from Disney Parks. The set is inspired specifically by the current Star Tours ride vehicle, which itself is an updated repaint of the earlier StarSpeeder 3000 model.
Star Tours T-Shirt – $36.99
On the same ride topic, there is a new Star Tours t-shirt available as well. The Star Tours: The Adventures Continue logo is on the front above the Walt Disney World wordmark. This shirt is primarily black with an oversized gray Star Tours symbol in the background. TIE fighters are attacking the StarSpeeder in the background while C3-PO and R2-D2 are standing in the foreground.
On the back of the shirt are the departures and arrivals boards as seen in the Star Tours queue. The lettering is all in Aurebesh with the gray Star Tours symbol in the background. The arrivals board is orange and the departures board is blue.
