Merry Menagerie will be back at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this holiday season, alongside “Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition” and Mickey and Minnie in holiday attire.
The Walt Disney World holiday season is November 13, 2026 through January 6, 2027, so these offerings are expected to run during this period.
Merry Menagerie
Merry Menagerie sees artisan-sculpted puppets of arctic animals roaming Discovery Island, interacting with guests. They are accompanied by live musicians and the area’s wintry decorations. Animals include penguins, reindeer, foxes, and polar bears.

Rob Kaz Artwork
Original artwork from artist Rob Kaz will be available at Island Mercantile in Discovery Island throughout the holiday season. Kaz will also greet guests inside Island Mercantile from November 1 through November 22.
“Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition”
The “Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition” projection show transforms the park’s iconic centerpiece into holiday scenes. This show happens on nights when the park is open after dark. It occurs approximately every 10 minutes until the park closes.
