Aatari will release several upgraded vintage Toy Story games plus one A Bug’s Life game as part of the collection Toy Story: Retro Roundup!

The collection includes 11 total versions of these games across console and handheld:
- Toy Story (1995, Sega Genesis, SNES, Game Boy): Play your way through the movie with challenging levels that closely follow the plot of the original film.
- Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! (1999, Playstation 1): To infinity and beyond! Control Buzz Lightyear across fifteen levels to rescue Woody in a game that follows the plot of the second film.
- Toy Story 2 (1999, Game Boy Color): Become a Space Ranger! In this side-scrolling platformer, you play as Buzz, who runs, jumps, and blasts enemies with his laser through 11 levels.
- Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000, PlayStation 1, Game Boy Color): Defend the Galactic Alliance in this platformer based on the animated series of the same name.
- Toy Story Racer (2001, PlayStation 1, Game Boy Color): Race against your friends in this kart racing game, where you play as classic Toy Story characters and zoom through a variety of familiar settings.
- A Bug’s Life (1998, PlayStation 1, Game Boy Color): It’s a bug-eat-bug world in this platformer that follows the plot of the hit film.
The games have been enhanced with quality-of-life improvements, including Rewind (retry mistakes), Rex’s Cheat Codes (unlock unlimited lives or invincibility), Practice Mode, and more.
The collection also includes behind-the-scenes interviews with Jason Katz, Head of Story for Pixar; voice actor Jim Hanks; Luigi Priore, VP and GM for Disney & Pixar Games; and Jon Burton, Founder of TT Games. The virtual museum is filled with rare design documents, vintage development photos, and more.
Toy Story: Retro Roundup! will be out on October 15 but is available to wishlist now on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo.
Also coming October 15 is the upgraded Toy Story 3 game. Watch the announcement video for both below.
