A child’s unsafe climb onto the outside of a Redwood Creek Challenge Trail structure prompted a security response in a video shared online.
Young Guest Climbs On Structure

The TikTok video shows the incident taking place on the Mt. Shasta ranger lookout tower, the central structure of the wilderness-themed play area in Grizzly Peak.
The uploader’s description for the clip aptly describes the situation with: “Kids be wildin”

In the clip, the young guest is sitting on the exterior side of an elevated wooden staircase, outside the normal guest walkway and railings.
Several guests watch from below as Disney security and Cast Members respond, with one uniformed Cast Member seen on the top floor of the tower speaking on the phone, presumably with a Cast leader or manager.
The video does not show exactly how the young guest initially reached the exterior portion of the structure, nor how the situation was ultimately resolved, but we assume the guest was eventually removed and unharmed.

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is designed as an interactive climbing and play area, complete with an elevated ropes course, rock climbing wall, tire swings, and more.
Of course, guests are expected to remain on designated paths and platforms at all times.
