The affected area is the body of water between the Imagination Pavilion and the Land Pavilion closest to CommuniCore Plaza. Crews removed the coins after they drained the water earlier this month and moved the rocks into piles.

They have begun repainting the bottom of the pool. Though not complete, it appears to be roughly halfway repainted.

A few sections and the area under the rocks are not complete. It’s unclear whether it will get a second coat of paint.

Coins from Cinderella’s Wishing Well at Magic Kingdom and other fountains and waterways throughout Walt Disney World—including this one—are collected periodically and donated to Make-A-Wish and Give Kids The World Village. These coins will likely be removed.

Back in 2022, Disney donated $30,000 and will likely have another large dollar amount to give soon now that this reflecting pool has been drained.
