Back for its second year, Universal Studios Hollywood is once again hosting Mega Movie Summer! It will run during all normal park operating hours from June 13 to August 9, 2026.

Themes

This year’s themes for Mega Movie Summer are Minions & Monsters, The Odyssey, Wicked, Wicked: For Good, and the 25th anniversary of The Fast & The Furious. Throughout the park, you will spy themed photo ops, food and beverages, meet and greets, merchandise, and more.

For Fast & Furious specifically, guests can enjoy snagging a photo with cars used in the films, watch hip hop dance performances, and enjoy thematic dining at Hollywood and Dine (more on that below).

Food

Hollywood & Dine is rolling out new food menu items in honor of Fast & Furious‘ 25th anniversary. This includes:

• Fried Elote Corn Dog – a corn dog with lime crema, cotija, tajin, and cilantro
  • served with fries
• Grill Master’s Burger – an all-beef patty with tangy dressing, grilled onions, and bell peppers
  • served with fries
• Quarter Mile Funnel Cake – funnel cake with Oreo crumbles, chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream, chocolate whipped topping, and even more Oreo

Or, if you visit Cocina Mexicana, you can grab the La Familia Meal. This is a family-style meal with eight tacos, rice, beans, chips, guacamole, and salsa. Plus, it includes four chocolate Oreo tire conchas for dessert.

Beyond just the Fast & Furious specialties, you can also enjoy some Jaws adjacent eats and treats, too. Mel’s Diner is serving up the shark-bite-sized eats.

• Shark Bait Burger – a pastrami burger
  • with fries
• Lobster Roll – a lobster roll on a buttered roll with lettuce
  • served with fries and tartar sauce
• Fish & Chicken Basket – fried cod
  • served with fries and tartar sauce
• Amity Island Funnel Cake – funnel cake topped with ice cream, strawberry and blueberry jam, and cinnamon streusel
• Lifesaver Swirl – vanilla soft serve, strawberry sauce, whipped topping, and a sugar cookie

Following a movie that is just coming out this summer, you can also enjoy special treats celebrating Minions & Monsters. You can find these limited-time eats at Minion Cafe:

• Howard’s Berry Lemonade Cupcake – pink vanilla cupcake filled with lemon curd, topped with raspberry buttercream, strawberry crunch, and pink lemonade gummy tentacles
• James’ Carbarana– cavatappi pasta tossed in a garlic cream sauce with pancetta and peas

Merchandise

Among the merchandise you’ll find for Mega Movie Summer is this Jaws Loungefly. It features the shark popping out from the water in front of the Amity Island beach.

Also available during Mega Movie Summer are a variety of merchandise items for Minions & Monsters. This includes a new t-shirt, bucket hat, Goomi shoulder pal, and even collectible blind box figures (shown above).

Not to be left out, even Glinda and her pals from Wicked: For Good are featured in exclusive merchandise at Mega Movie Summer. That includes a set of plush and two brand new Spirit Jerseys.

Studio Tour Update

Although The World Famous Studio Tour is not exclusive to summer, there are brand new clips that have been added to it. They feature filmmakers behind The Odyssey, which comes out July 17, 2026. You will also see a screen-used ship from the upcoming film.
