Bakari the silverback gorilla is now appearing on the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at Disney’s Animal Kingdom after being introduced to the family troop.
Bakari Joins Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail
Bakari is a 21-year-old male who arrived at Animal Kingdom from the Saint Louis Zoo in late June. Over the past month, he has acclimated to his new home and met the family troop, resulting in temporary closures of the gorilla viewing area.
The @animalsatdisney Instagram account announced Bakari is now appearing for guests as of Monday, July 27.
