The patriotic bunting and signage have been removed from the columns in front of The American Adventure building in EPCOT, and now it seems there is damage along their sides from the signs that used to hang there.
We noticed this damage during a visit this morning, July 8.
Columns Damaged

Up near the top of the columns where the sign brackets are, there is significant damage left behind after the show signs were removed.
This damage may be related to a general construction permit that was filed this morning for the pavilion, though that permit is for Tecta America Corp., which is primarily a roofing contractor.

Above is what the exterior of the building looked like a week ago, with the signs still in place.

It appears that during the sign removal, at least one of the brackets broke off of the column, as seen above. The bottom bracket is missing, and there is just a hole where it used to be.

The other sign brackets are still in place.

Beyond just the bracket damage, there are also marks from where the signs hugged the columns. It looks like adhesive lines were left behind after the signs were removed, though paint was also pulled off during the removal.
