Disney announced that Camp Rock 3 is heading out on a nationwide bus tour to promote the upcoming film, which debuts on August 13 on Disney Channel.
Bus Tour
Starting tomorrow, July 3, the tour will launch from Nashville, Tennessee. It will then spend the next month making stops across the country on the way to D23 on August 14. It will include photo ops, Camp Rock hat customizations, and giveaways.
All of the stops include:
- Nashville, TN: July 3 & 4
- Charleston, SC: July 16
- Atlanta, GA: July 18
- Charlotte, NC: July 20
- Cleveland, OH: July 25
- Detroit, MI: July 26
- Ann Arbor, MI: July 28
- South Bend, IN: July 29
- Chicago, IL: July 31
- Milwaukee, WI: August 1
- Davenport, IA: August 1
- St. Louis, MO: August 2
- Kansas City, MO: August 3
- Denver, CO: August 4
- Los Angeles, CA: August 9
- San Diego, CA: August 11
- Anaheim, CA: August 14 – 16
Per Disney, the tour also has a collaboration with the American Camp Association (ACA) and will make stops at ACA-accredited summer camps to bring Camp Rock 3 to campers. There will also be scholarships provided to help underserved kids attend camp.
Camp Rock 3
Camp Rock’s all-new campers include bold and determined Sage (Liamani Segura) and her easygoing brother Desi (Hudson Stone); camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton); cello prodigy Rosie (Lumi Pollack); drummer with his own beat Cliff (Casey Trotter); choreo queen Callie (Brooklynn Pitts); and intimidating influencer Madison (Ava Jean). Sherry Cola also joins the franchise as Lark. Returning cast members include Joe Jonas as Shane Gray, Nick Jonas as Nate Gray, Kevin Jonas as Jason Gray, and Maria Canals-Barrera as Connie.
Directed by Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye, Camp Rock 3 is produced by Disney Branded Television and features choreography by Jamal Sims. Tim Federle executive produces, along with Joe, Nick, Kevin, Lovato, Betsy Sullenger, Spencer Berman, and Gary Marsh.
Camp Rock (2008) and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) are among the Top 10 Disney Channel Original Movies of all time and were the No. 1 Cable Movie Premiere in their year of premiere.
Camp Rock 3 just released a new teaser trailer and song yesterday and announced the release date of August 13. Last month, we saw Demi Lovato and the cast of Camp Rock 3 trying their hand at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
