Central Florida, including Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort, is once again under a Heat Advisory with a heat index up to 109°F.

The advisory will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 27 for Volusia, Lake, Seminole, Orange, and northern Brevard counties.

Orange County encompasses Universal Orlando Resort and most of Walt Disney World.

The actual temperatures today will be in the low to mid 90s but the heat index, or the “feels-like” temperatures, will be 105 to 109.

Residents and guests are encouraged to stay hydrated, wear light clothing, take frequent breaks in the air conditioning or shade, and never leave kids and pets in unattended vehicles.

Central Florida has been under multiple Heat Advisories this summer, including this past Saturday.
