New concrete barriers have been placed in the parking lot of Disney’s Hollywood Studios to help with traffic flow and overall safety. It replaces the police vehicle that is usually in the same spot.
Concrete Barriers

The three barriers are placed near the front of the parking lot at the crosswalk, with the Skyliner station on the right and the main entrance past it.
Usually, there is a police vehicle there blocking access to the first few rows of parking. It’s usually there to prevent cars from entering the rows of parking from this area. The barriers appear to be a more permanent solution in place of the police vehicle.

During our visit, guests were using the pedestrian walkway and crossing the road after passing the barriers.
